- Why? Unless it had to know about SMTP itself, which would restrict its
- usefulness (and require that you configure a mail server for it), it
- would have to use an external program for delivering the mail
- _anyway_. Why not use a real mail client, then? Whatever the way used,
- AWeb needs to have at least one configuration option for it, and the
- current methods leaves the least code into AWeb, and is the most
- flexible. This obviously makes it the most desirable method to me.

-
- Hmh. I don't 'rape' anything, including FTP sites.. While I agree that
- supporting both links to files AND likns to directories without
- internal support is hairy, I like the idea of using FTP-Mount for FTP
- links (I'd like it more if I could manage to make FTP-Mount work with
- I-Net 225). What's more, it is faster, since FTP is a protocol that's
- very unsuitable for a Web browser's way of working.

- TIN blows chunks, IMO. I use Gnus on the nearest GNU Emacs 19.30
- available, which happens to be an IRIX machine at the university.

- I use Voodoo with with a combination of mouse and keyboard, because
- that's the fastest way I can use any program as long as those are the
- two interfaces available. It doesn't seem to be hard to use, but that
- may be because I designed it so that it would be fast to use for me.

- Because you may have to scroll messages left and right. Pictures do
- not word wrap.
